Game and safety rules
Claim territory. Never chase the clock.
These are the plain-language rules behind the territory game. Server integrity checks remain authoritative for every submitted ride.
Territory
How a ride claims the map.
- Closed loop: the route closes within 150 metres and covers between 1.5 and 400 square kilometres.
- Open route: a valid route that does not close can claim a thinner corridor instead of an enclosed area.
- Strength: loop cells begin at 100, corridor cells at 60 and both decay by 2 each day.
- Deletion: cells still owned only through a deleted ride return to neutral.
Scoring
Area is the only performance reward.
10 points per loop cell · 3 per corridor cell · +4 for a first claim
Speed and elapsed time add nothing. There is no fastest-rider leaderboard, time bonus or incentive to ride beyond the law, conditions or your ability.
Integrity
A recorded line is not automatically a valid ride.
Kickstand filters isolated GPS jumps and weighs unusual location patterns by how often they occur. Suspicious rides are saved and held for review instead of being rejected automatically. Only a moderator can reject a reviewed ride.
Replaying fake locations, editing payloads, using another vehicle or evading integrity controls can remove results or restrict an account. Available appeals can be submitted in the app.
Safety comes first
Territory is never permission to enter.
Obey traffic law and closures. Do not trespass. Do not interact with Kickstand while moving. The map is not navigation, emergency response or roadside assistance.
